Global Software Vendor has a new opening for a Pre-Sales Consultant.  With a global reach across the US, Australia, and Germany, my client works in close partnership with Microsoft, Citrix, VMWare, IBM & others.  Due to expansion they have an exciting opportunity for a Pre-Sales Consultant.  Although a pre-sales background is not essential, you must be motivated and have a desire to move into a customer-focused role, whilst obviously possessing the strong technical skills required.  A background as a systems engineer or internal support will be of interest. The Pre-Sales Consultant is responsible for: Technical knowledge about the Microsoft Infrastructure, Terminal Services (incl. Citrix), XenDesktop and VMWare View. Recommended: MCSE or MCTS , CCEA; Basic presentation skills; Familiarity with SalesForce CRM, Citrix GotoMeeting and GotoWebinar would be beneficial to your application; Live Demonstrations of Software via Webcast; Live Demonstrations of the software onsite at the customer (focus on south Germany); Partner education and support; Proof-of-Concepts together with partners onsite at customers (focus on south Germany); Presentations on Events.
